fear of college enrollment

by: cynthia

I am a graduate of AIU and I also work for AIU. As an advisor, single mother of 2, I find that the biggest fear that most women have is the fear of figuring out how I can go to school, family and career and the big one....AFFORDING COLLEGE!!! I have some pointer's that would help quell all your fears and make the process less scary. Call me @404-965-6403.

I also was skeptical about going back to school and being able to afford it. I attended another online college before AIU and had to stop taking classes because I was going to have to make monthly payments that were almost half of my rent. It was already hard enough for me working full time and taking classes full time, I didn't want the pressure of having to get a second job to pay for my classes. With AIU they were able to answer all of my questions to any financial concerns that I had and let me know that I was going to be able to get the assistance that I needed without having to have the extra pressure on me of whether I would be wasting my time because I wouldn't be able to afford it in the long run. I am a mother of two children and have received my AABA through AIU and am currently in my Bachelors program. I find that online classes are the best thing that ever happened to me. You have to be very self disciplined to set aside time every week to do your homework, and know that it's your future.
