Sparkle Scott

Sparkle Scott is a single mother. She gave birth to her son while she was completing her degree at Northern Illinois University (NIU) in DeKalb, IL. Through her hard work and perseverance to achieve a better life for her and her son, she focused on completing her degree. Like many college graduates, she eagerly anticipated the day she would graduate and begin her career. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Corporate/Organizational Communications from NIU.

She began working as a preschool instructor at a local daycare in DeKalb. While working at the preschool, she developed a desire to continue working in education. She obtained a position with American InterContinental University Online as a student advisor and developed a connection with students who are striving to achieve their educational goals. She hopes to inspire them to reach their goals the same as she did despite the naysayers.
