Jackie Blalock Robinson

Jackie Blalock Robinson is the executive director of The Justin Blalock Foundation. The Foundation was founded by her son, Justin Blalock, a player for the NFL Atlanta Falcons, to facilitate the development of young male athletes in becoming productive citizens in our communities. The Foundation targets young men, ages 12-17, who participate in organized sports. It offers educational workshops as tools and motivators to improve grades and test scores and to develop leadership skills.

Jackie most recently worked as the Supplier Diversity Manager at Nortel Networks, Richardson, TX. In her 27 years at Nortel, she held management positions in a number of areas including advertising, marketing, training, and sales operations.

Prior to her move into telecommunications, Jackie was a reporter for newspapers in Chicago, Delaware, New Jersey and Philadelphia. She has served as publicity chairman for the local chapter of her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and currently is the Sorority’s Regional Information Officer for the South Central Region that includesArkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Texas. A native of Chicago, Jackie earned a Master of Arts in Advertising and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL.

Her hobbies include travel, reading and interior decorating. Jackie and her husband reside in Plano, TX.
