Dr. Donna DiMatteo-Gibson
My name is Donna DiMatteo-Gibson. Let me tell you a little about myself! I received my bachelor of arts degree in both speech communications and psychology from the University of San Diego. I also have obtained two masters of science degrees in the areas of psychology and industrial-organizational psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) which is now called Alliant International University.
In June of 1999, I graduated from CSPP with a Ph.D. in industrial-organizational psychology. My dissertation is titled “Career mobility, commitment and satisfaction: A comparative study of male and female law school graduates." I studied the job mobility patterns, career commitment, motivation and job satisfaction of male and female law school graduates in a variety of legal jobs.
Currently, I live in Los Angeles, Calif. Besides teaching at AIU Online, I also work as a management consultant. I am involved in assessing motivation and finding ways of improving motivation in the workplace.
