Achieving Life Balance
Survivors
Posted: Feb 2nd, 2009
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. As a survivor, this month has a particularly strong impact on me. It is always a time of serious reflection on my life and the role of others in my life. It is also a time of celebration, remembrance, and thanksgiving.
A shirt of mine seems to say it all:
- The battle was not easy but she knew she would win.
- She did everything she could to find a cure.
- Sharing her new found knowledge with every woman she knows.
- She will never give up…never, Never, NEVER.
- She is the epitome of a true survivor.
Surviving, however, is what great women do -- and surviving takes its toll on us all. Therefore, we must share and celebrate with others so we know we are not alone, and remember that our successes and failures matter. Below is a link that I believe all women should check out. Please give it a look, try out some of the tools, view and read some of the resources, and share your experiences.
